Update, 5-5-2011: Here's an update from another customer. His experience should be more than enough to warn you about the dangers of trying to do business with this company.

I posted this back on 2006 about my experience with Gainsaver:

Thinking of buying from GainSaver? Don't.

This website, www.gainsaver.com, purports to be a legitimate business, but its just a scam to get your credit card information. They have no real telephone number to call. The 877 number listed on the gainsaver website does not let you talk to anyone at gainsaver itself. Instead, you are instructed to use the web form email, where you get back short, unhelpful responses.

Learn from my mistake. Don't order from this place. I never received the product I ordered because it "failed its testing." Their site says "same day shipping." Ha! I was told it takes at least 5 days to ship after an order has been received.

Their "parent" website, bNet Software, is not a legitimate business either. Go, check it out for yourself.

Here's a discussion forum detailing my experience and the experience of another would-be customer: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=2215905

I hope this helps someone from falling for the same scam I did!
